Welcome!

The Mystic Society of Isis and Osiris was formed to promote awareness and appreciation of the art and craft forms associated with Mardi Gras and Carnival celebrations along the US Gulf Coast. The Society intends to achieve this aim through staging of Tableau presentations, public demonstrations and exhibits, and production of documentation and education of the different types of Mardi Gras or Carnival crafts and traditions.

This site will keep you informed on the progress we make as we establish our presence in the Houston, Texas community.  Our members have many collective years of experience refining the Mardi Gras Arts, and we look forward to sharing our adventures with you!
